The Massachusetts Council on Economic Education Endorses AP Business with Personal Finance as a Model for Financial Literacy in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Council on Economic Education has endorsed the Advanced Placement Business with Personal Finance course as a model for high-quality financial literacy education in the state. The MCEE is calling on Massachusetts education leaders to promote and adopt the full-year, college-level course, which covers budgeting, investing, credit, risk management, and career planning aligned with national personal finance standards. The course requires students to demonstrate mastery through coursework and an external AP exam rather than passive exposure to financial topics.
