Hezbollah chief demands full timetable for Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon

Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem demanded a scheduled Israeli military withdrawal from southern Lebanon as indirect Israel-Lebanon talks resumed in Washington. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun rejected Israel's occupation of the south, while Israeli gunfire killed two people in the region despite a recent reduction in hostilities. The fifth round of negotiations came after mediators Pakistan and Qatar announced that Tehran and Washington had agreed to establish a "de-confliction cell" aimed at preventing further escalations.
