A 39-year-old man died Friday night after being struck by a Honda HRV and a Ford Explorer on Philips Highway near Southside Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. The man attempted to cross the roadway in front of both southbound vehicles in the center lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. He was transported to Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Neither driver was injured.
