The University of Washington announced Tuesday that Nick Koop, a longtime UCLA broadcaster, will serve as Director of Broadcasting and play-by-play announcer for men's basketball. Koop, who has called UCLA athletic events since 2016, replaces Tony Castricone, who departed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The hire is part of broader personnel changes in the Huskies program, including a new general manager and coaching staff additions.
