Police investigate Jayden Adam's death after he was found in CapeTown property

South African police have launched an inquest into the death of Jayden Adams, a 25-year-old Bafana Bafana midfielder who was found dead at a property in Cape Town's Schotsche Kloof area on Saturday. Adams appeared in all three of South Africa's group-stage matches at the 2026 World Cup last month. Authorities said they have not yet determined the cause of death and are continuing to gather evidence.
