Explosions rock Damascus, wounding 18, as French President Macron visits Syria

Explosions rocked Damascus on Tuesday, wounding at least 18 people, as French President Emmanuel Macron met Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa at the presidential palace in a landmark visit. Two blasts struck the area near the Four Seasons Hotel as the meeting took place, Syria's Interior Ministry said. The incident marked the first high-level Western diplomatic visit to Syria in years.
