Bronx woman arrested by 2 CT police departments for alleged bank fraud, identity theft

A 41-year-old Bronx woman was arrested Tuesday in Wethersfield, Connecticut, after being charged with identity theft and larceny for allegedly making fraudulent transactions at two Hartford County banks on the same day in December 2024. Precious Mills faces third-degree larceny, two counts each of second-degree forgery and third-degree identity theft, and two counts of criminal impersonation, including a $3,500 unauthorized withdrawal from M&T Bank on Silas Deane Highway. Mills, held on a $10,000 bond after waiving extradition from Rikers Island, is scheduled for a New Britain Superior Court hearing Wednesday.
