SpaceX's artificial intelligence division, bolstered by its acquisition of xAI and the Grok language model, grew 213% year-over-year to $2.56 billion in second-quarter revenue, outpacing Alphabet's disclosed AI growth rates. Alphabet's Google Cloud division, however, generated $24.8 billion in the same quarter with 82% year-over-year growth, making it three times larger than SpaceX's entire revenue. Both companies are positioned as AI stocks but with different growth trajectories and business structures.
