Strange new discovery on Mars found by NASA rover has scientists baffled

NASA's Curiosity rover has discovered an extensive field of polygonal fracture formations on the floor of a Martian valley in an area called Valle Grande on Mount Sharp, inside Gale Crater. The honeycomb-like geometric features, while encountered before during the rover's nearly 14-year mission, have never been observed concentrated across such a large area, presenting scientists with a new geological puzzle to investigate.
