Rio Rancho students return to the classroom

Rio Rancho Public Schools students returned to class Thursday under new Superintendent Dr. Robert Dodd, who is prioritizing mathematics instruction with updated materials across elementary, middle and high schools. The district also launched a new parent communication app. Dodd, who assumed the position in March following Dr. V. Sue Cleveland's retirement, is piloting enhanced math instruction in five elementary schools.
