18-year-old killed in shooting outside house party in southwest valley, police say

An 18-year-old identified as Dzale Murrel was shot and killed outside a house party in Las Vegas's southwest valley early Sunday morning, police said. The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. in the 7200 block of Atascadero Creek Court following an altercation between groups outside the rental property. The suspect fled before officers arrived; Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are seeking information from the public.
