London Stock Exchange Group has partnered with Payward, parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, to launch tokenized versions of the UK's 100 largest listed equities under the name xStocks beginning in 2027. The exchange plans extended trading hours and blockchain-based settlement alongside the token offering.
